Look for Kojima's Supermarket, which is across the street and has a long open 200 foot long parking lot with a picnic area for the Windward Market Deli.

We have added more pictures of the Island for your enjoyment. Please be patient while they load.

The Kapa'a Kauai BeachHouse on Kauai's Blue Lagoon

"COME AND VISIT...YOU"LL WANT TO STAY"

The Kapa'a Kauai BeachHouse is a 5***** (Five Star) beautiful tropical shoreline EXPERIENCE located on the edge of the Blue Lagoon on the Coconut Coast of the Garden Island of Kauai.

Click Below For Pictures and More Information on The Kapaa BeachHouse

Waimea Falls

Besides looking down onto the Blue Lagoon from our first and second floor Lanai's (decks) you can also see Ocean, Mountain, Volcano, and Island views from our other Lanai's and verandahs. As well you can sometimes see whales leaping out of the ocean on the far side of the lagoon and see them spouting like ocean geysers. Hawaiian Monk Seals are also rarely seen on our beaches. Please do not disturb them, mahalo. Lagoon and Ocean views are seen from all the private rooms and dorms; except 2 private rooms do not share these views. You can also see the local fishing fleet pass in front of the BeachHouse going to and from the small boat harbor (Waikaea) adjacent to the right of the Blue lagoon.

We can help you access air, sea, river, and land activities of which there are hundreds with maybe as many as a few thousand companies to show you a fabulous experience. These include the famous Na Pali Coastal boat tours, deep sea fishing, whale-porpoise-turtle watching, helicopters, canoes, kayaks, mountain bikes, Harley Davidson motorcycle road touring, mountain motorcycle dirt bike tours, mountain stream, pond, and reservoir bass fishing, surfing, swimming, snorkeling, windsurfing, kite-surfing, hiking, and boogie boarding. There are incredible PGA golf courses, and Tiger Woods and other famous golfers come each year to compete. And many many other great outdoor experiences.

Kapa’a Town-Baby Beach

Kauai, Hawaii's shoreline

Only a small grassy play or relax area sets us apart from the Blue Lagoon directly in back, and to the left a free neighborhood swimming pool laps on the edge of the Blue Lagoon, while a white sandy swimming beach is just a 100 yards to our right, over a little sugar cane train railroad bridge, this beach is set behind the Kapa'a Library. The swimming pool is a 1 minute walk north, while the sandy beach is less than 2 minutes walk south from the Kapa'a Kauai BeachHouse. Our Blue Lagoon is sometimes like a natural swimming pool, and sometimes it can be quite active and asking experienced people about its activity prior to entering is important.

Dolphins

The Kauai (Public) Bus stops right in front of our place going south or on to the south and west sides of the island. The Kauai Bus circles most of the whole island for inexpensive touring; $1.50 dollar each way. We do have airport shuttle when one of us can break free from our duties. We charge $20, just to cover expenses, no matter how many passengers to the limit of the vehicle, car or pick up truck. You may also take a taxi 1 mile to WAL-MART and from there take the Kauai Bus for $1.50. Ask the bus driver to let you off at the Kapa'a Community Center...we are 2 doors back from there on the same side of the street (oceanside). Look for our signature BLUE and Bamboo !!! We are 2 buildings south of the Kapa'a Community Center at 1552 Kuhio Highway. We are behind the blue and bamboo evening social area that barely survived Hurricane Iniki. Look for the big indoor sign that says Kauai Beach House. Our reception area is on the ground floor in the covered picnic area in back of the garage and parking area. You really do not even have to rent a car to see Kauai.

Mountain View

The Blue Lagoon from The Kapa'a Kauai BeachHouse

The Old Town of Kapa'a has many international restaurants with food from Europe, Asia, Latin America, Hawaii, Polynesia, and American fast food. We have convenience stores and visitor shopping close by and a Traditional and Contemporary Hawaiian music bar only a 5 minute walk from our place. Fruit stands are close by in both directions. Artists studios, farmers' market, crafts, swap meets are all in our town. Lots of weekend garage sales. There are Hula Shows and Hawaiian Luau's nearby. Often Hawaiian and Tahitian Hula Schools practice in our back yard for luau's and island festivals.

The Kapa'a BeachHouse has a basketball set up on our concrete parking area, which reminds me to tell you that we have unlimited parking in back of the building when our parking lot is full. We have work out gym equipment with dumbbells, olympic weight set, bench press, lat machine, and leg sled. We have volleyball, badminton, and soccer set ups in our huge grassy yard. There are lagoon and ocean front walking and bike trails that pass our building; and it is only a few minute bike ride to our local fishing, swimming, surfing, body boarding, and picnic beach. And you can snorkel, fish, or spear fish or dive in our lagoon. Evening Bar-B-Q is available on the grassy palm tree lined edge of the lagoon; or take a beach chair to the edge and relax in the sun or under an umbrella. You will see that the ocean is usually a cobalt blue. The whole area has the unobstructed Pacific Tradewinds for an air conditioner, although August and September are our warmest months. We have refrigerators, microwave oven, electric stove, coffee maker, blender and all the kitchen utensils you need to prepare your own meals. Showers, brand new quality bedding, clean bathrooms, and kitchen sink with an open air covered lanai ocean view. Please bring your own towels, mahalo.

Aloha, Tranquility, and Beauty are our Style. There is an expert spinal correction and alignment center nearby; and soon to open is a fresh fish market specializing in all the Hawaiian raw and prepared sea foods and also a delicatessen, espresso bar. A large jacuzzi is being installed on one of the lanai's. The shared accommodations are extra large hotel size full size double beds with each bunk having its own privacy curtains. The beds sleep one or two comfortably so couples can be together. The sunrise and moon rise over the lagoon can be seen from most of the bunks. Our location is safe and secure and well lit at night for your convenience. Our resident manager has stayed in hostels and other shared accommodation locations in over 60 countries and is well experienced to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable, and a wonderful lifetime experience. The number of guests is limited so that quality, relaxation, fun, and a personal friendly stay is our reputation. We believe our place is a complement to one of the most beautiful islands in the oceans of the world. There is plenty of space for outdoor smoking away from the other guests, but no smoking is allowed in or on the building for your natural health benefit.

Come and experience and enjoy a real Polynesian Hawaiian Paradise. See our lush green island, surf our beautiful tropical beaches from Haena (the birthplace of rainbows) to the awesome Hanalei Bay where small beginner waves and giant 30 foot waves come at different seasons; relax at the many public beaches or at the many beaches that are open to the public but are hidden away and cozy (a few beaches off the main road are used for clothing-optional sunbathing); you can be all to yourself from the jungle side of the island to the far west desert side where the Grand Canyon of the Pacific and mountain top to ocean shore views drop 4,500 feet into the ocean.

Continue scrolling down our web page for incredibly beautiful photos. More photos will come on line as we get time to upload them so be welcome to drop back to our web page for a view...and please tell your friends about us.

Well we really don't want you to think that the lagoon is small; nor that our beachfront is limited to the size of the first photo shown above.

In fact, our lagoon runs about a mile to the left or north; and about 4 miles to the right or south. To the north only the swimming pool is on the edge of the water; and the pool is only a few steps or yards from The Kapa'a BeachHouse. Past the swimming pool there is nothing on the beach for 5 miles except secluded hidden romantic coves.

For the next 15 miles the coast is dotted with many other secluded coves and beaches that you can drive to or take a short hike down to and have the day all to yourself or selves. Only a few homes occasionally are near the water. Other than that, it is 20 miles of no development from our place headed north towards beautiful Hanalei Bay and the incredible vast Na Pali Coast.

The bus also stops across the street in front of 1.) Kapa’a Neighborhood Center. These are the names of the stops to ask for if you are taking the bus here from either direction.

Check in is now formally 3 times a day: Noon and again at 6:00 pm and again at 8:00 pm. You can arrive anytime at the Kauai BeachHouse, relax and enjoy the ocean and lagoon views off the ocean decks or walk the new bike/hike path in back on the ocean north to the next beach…great views…there are LIFEGUARD hours of  swimming at the far north end of that beach…or walk in Kapa'a Town’s central zone just 1½ blocks away to the south...one of our Kauai BeachHouse check-in persons may be there anytime and will probably be able to check you in whenever one is there. Ask around the Kauai BeachHousefor the On-Duty Check-in person, you may have to go to the 2nd floor to ask around; also the garage entertainment area.

On arrival you will be asked to read our rules, really the things we need you to do while you are here to make our hostel function well for all guests and our hard working staff, if all guests abide by the rules, everyone’s stay will be optimal and fun. After reading them, we ask you to fill out a very short form with your identification and emergency telephone number for you. You will need to sign the form agreeing to abide by the rules.

This is a message for the very few who arrive in the middle of the Pacific Ocean without $$money.

We are just like the grocery stores…they do not have an eat now and pay later program…nor do we have a sleep now, pay later program. If you run out of money for lodging call someone to Western Union you money at Safeway or Foodland Grocery Stores, you do not want to be in Hawaii w/out  $$$. Seems crazy to mention that but a few people come unprepared.

We are $725/night less expensive than the ocean view rooms at the Hyatt Hotel…except we have nicer Pacific Ocean and Blue Lagoon views.

If you'd like a review of all Hawaii’s Hostels...go to www.HawaiiHostelReview.com

This fellow who made the web site went to all the hostels in Hawaii and did not inform owners or staff of his intention to do the Review. We are ranked #1 in Hawaii.

As of April 1, 2008…Aloha Airlines and ATA Airlines no longer provide passenger service to/from Hawaii.

sliding glass door onto an open deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Blue Lagoon. Same rates $30 single; and $45 couple.

Section 2: Laundry
All of these accommodations have access to a $3.00 per load washing machine, the laundry soap is included. Laundry drying for free can be done in the area set aside for the clothes lines, and of course it is free. If fast drying is necessary we have an expensive electric dryer at $5 per use, double up with another if you have little to dry. There is a Laundromat in Kapa'a Town next door to Ace Hardware.

Section 3: Linens…
Sheets, Pillow Cases, comforters, sanitary covers, and keys for private rooms, for any of our accommodations require a 100% Refundable $50 Deposit per bed on return of all items in same condition. No kitchen or bedding items are to leave the
premises.

Items that can collect sand such as towels can result in damages to our washer and they also tend to get lost and are not returned. Beach sand in our sewer drains clogs the lines. Please have no sand or mud on clothing, and other washables, when using the washing machine and showers.

Section 4: Who We Are and What the Kauai BeachHouse, LLC is Like
Some people who show up dripping in jewelry w/ lots of tasteful luggage and very fancy clothes mistakenly think we are a hotel type of place. This is not the case. We are a casual, laid back
place for people who can relate to this type of hostelling atmosphere. We are certainly a very nice budget accommodation, we think we are at least in the top 3 if not #1 in Hawaii according to the many guests who have stayed w/ us. This is a comparison to other hostels and budget lodging places.

A few people have showed up and did not like our accommodations; they expected a fancy hotel with amenities similar to hotels;  which is where they went to after us, but had to pay well over a $300/night and up for accommodations without the beautiful view of the ocean and lagoon.

If you are unsure of the type of accommodations you want then do not reserve a place from us as the confirmed deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. You see when we reserve an accommodation for you, we guarantee that you have a place to stay while on Kauai, and you guarantee that you will honor that confirmation.

Out of the many many thousands of people who have enjoyed the Kauai BeachHouse only a handful have turned their nose up at our wonderful accommodations.

Just remember most of our guests are backpackers, longer term "sunbirds"; campers, they are casual and mellow, and easy to meet people and share experiences with and go out together and experience the extraordinary island of Kauai..

Also if you are the type of person who cannot get along w/ others or cannot clean up after themselves perhaps a hotel is more suitable for you with their ability to provide you complete services and privacy.

Personal hygiene and cleanliness are a requirement, if you need your surroundings to be messy, there are other places to stay more suited to that lifestyle, but not here with us and our guests. Cleaning up after yourself at kitchen and bathrooms, BBQ area and entertainment garage is imperative in this type setting since all facilities are shared.

Sunrise and moonrise are incredible from our lagoon decks. Sunset also is
beautiful from the Mauka or mountain decks and under the huge Monkey Pod
Trees and Palms in our patio and picnic BBQ area.

Section 5: Direction from the Airport
1.) DIRECTIONS: Best is to rent a car. Hitch-hiking is legal. The bus stops at the Lihue Airport but does not allow large camping packs or suitcases.
Absurd, yeah? But it does stop 2 doors north of us at the Kapa’a Neighborhood Center coming from the Lihue Airport.

If you are coming back from the North Shore, Kalalau Trail or Hanalei Bay get off the bus at Kojima Store. We are behind the old garage with the framed BAMBOO panels across our driveway. Inside is our 24 hour entertainment center.

We are across from Kojima Store and next door to Scotty’s BBQ Restaurant. We are 2 doors south (back towards the Lihue Airport) of the Kapa'a Community Center. We are located right on the waters of the Blue Lagoon and Pacific Ocean. 15 minutes or 8 ½ miles from the Lihue Airport. We shuttle from the airport when avail for $20 regardless of how many passengers. The taxi is about $27 from the airport.

It might be best to print this part of the DIRECTIONS.

As you come out of airport there is a large 4 way stop signal light #1. Turn right. There are no other turns, you drive straight to the Kauai BeachHouse which is on the main road on the right side of the road and on the Pacific Ocean and the Blue Lagoon. We are 8 ½ miles, or 14 Km and 15 minutes from the Lihue Airport.

There are no turns at all after the 1st light. That 1st light is #1 and a total of 8 stop lights…we are in the 3rd block past the 8th stop light…and 7 buildings past the Kapa’a Soccer Park also on the ocean. The soccer park is in the 2nd block past the 8th light. The 8th light has an ABC Store on the left on the corner.

#8 stop light (the last one on the island) is in front of ABC Store; which is like a 7/11 convenience store. We are 3 more blocks on the right; on the ocean side of the road. After turning coming out of the airport the only other turn is into our neighbor Scotty’s BBQ. Call for more directions.

You’ll see Scotty’s BBQ and then past that you will see our old blue garage with bamboo framed panels and 2 palm trees blocking our entertainment garage. If you are driving go through Scotty’s BBQ parking lot and park out on the back. Please do not park in the neighbor’s parking just past us…but you can park along the rocks parallel to the ocean/lagoon.

Our address is 1552 (Kuhio Hwy) is on the front of the garage above the BAMBOO panels...and as
well our 2 mailboxes on the coconut tree on the far side of the garage entrance has 4 - 1552 posted vertically on the coconut palm tree in front on the highway. Scotty’s BBQ is drab green and has white concrete pillars.

The Kauai BeachHouse is painted BLUE w/ YELLOW trim on the ocean side; like a huge tree house on the roadside and a 3 tiered view decks on the Blue Lagoon and Pacific Ocean side.

The “Kauai BeachHouse” sign is on the far side of our old blue garage on the highway.

Scotty’s BBQ is 2nd story only; their parking is on the ground level,  but do not park there. Our large

Monkey Pod tree shades both the BeachHouse BBQ area and Scotty’s BBQ parking lot.

When you arrive if we are not there, relax, you can choose a shared bunk, we'll get you your sheets when we come back from an errand. Check in time is noon and after 6:00 pm; come anytime and relax on our view decks or TV lanai. The Private rooms are on the first floor overlooking the lagoon. Go onto any of the decks to relax including downstairs around the back. Or walk along the lagoon until we get back...phoning us is best on arrival.

Looking out to the lagoon and ocean the large neighborhood free swimming pool is to the left and a sandy beach is over the little bridge to the right. Both are about 100 yds./meters away
from us. Follow the obvious path and if you like you can swim in the pool or the sandy beach behind the library. Be careful swimming in the ocean everywhere in Hawaii.

SECTION 6: ACCOMMODATIONS CONFIRMATION AND DEPOSIT.
Because we are a large building and have only a few accommodations in
comparison with so many other budget/backpacker places, when people reserve
accommodations and we honor that accommodation by blocking it from
others, and then there is a no-show, we lose revenue so important to a new business. So we have looked around the industry and have adopted methods used by others. One does not need a reservation to stay at our place as we
gladly welcome walk-ins when accommodations are available.

We have a
NON-REFUNDABLE confirmed reservation deposit, the value of which depends on the accommodation reserved. We do refund if we can rent the accommodation reserved. For the Blue Lagoon Room, the Royal Hawaiian Queen Room, and the Ohana Room and the Captain's Crows Nest there is a $40 for each night deposit, and $20 each night deposit on the Hawaiian Islands Bunk Room and other shared accommodations.

If you call from another island you still must use 1-808; from Kauai drop the 1-808. We have a toll free number from anywhere in Hawaii, just call 652-8162

When you call us if you get a message please speak slowly and leave a phone number and we'll call back in the USA/Canada. From Other countries we prefer Email as we answer every day or at the most every 48 hours. Email:
Aloha@KauaiBeachhouse.net

Now let's say you have paid the deposit and something comes along and your plans have changed. We do want you to be our guests and enjoy an incredibly spectacular experience here on Kauai; so if you absolutely have to alter your
plans, you may do so and choose other nights for up to about a year with no loss of your deposit. This alternative depends on space available. If we can get others to stay in your accommodation we will refund the deposit; or you may extend your stay to another person(s) and work out the money issue with them. We are here to serve you. If we had 50 accommodations we would not need this deposit; but here is quiet and tranquil and a limited # of accommodations; our location for beauty and convenience is beyond expectation for a budget or backpacker accommodation.

We will make tentative reservations over the internet email or phone and hold that reservation for a reasonable amount of days to allow you to mail your deposit to us in Hawaii. East Coast USA to Hawaii is about 10 days air mail;
and West Coast is about 3-4 days. Your canceled check is your receipt.
EUROPE/LATIN AMERICA/ASIA/AFRICA is longer mail time and deposits are difficult to make work. So no deposit is required from those locations.

Section 7: AIRPORT PICKUP
Yes we can pick you up at the airport for a $20, when we are able to which is most of the time;. We need to know how many people and how much luggage as to know whether to bring a car or a pick up truck with front and back seat.

The taxi is about $27 and we actually prefer you take the taxi, but we are here to serve you so we will come and get you if we are not just absolutely tied up. We cannot guarantee the airport pick up as it can be only done when we are available to go to the airport. If you want a ride from the airport, let us know when you reserve; and then again by email a day before if you are able to, or by phone if you are already in transit. 1-808-822-3424, cell 652-8162, 63, or 64. All Hawaii phones have area code 808. Also we can call you back if you have to leave a message be sure to give your phone number S_L_O_W_L_Y and twice so we can write it down. And always call us from the airport for a ride.

Section 8: RENTAL CAR RECOMMENDATION

RENTING A CAR MAKES A BETTER STAY ON KAUAI AND GIVES YOU ACCESS TO ALL THE
SPECTACULAR PLACES TO GO, SEE, and DO things.
There are a few people in town who let people use their cars for $25/day. They are not affiliated with us. The cars are of course not brand new but probably 10 or more years old…many people rent them.

Section9: BUS SERVICE ON KAUAI
The local bus which stops 2 doors to the north at the Kapa’a Neighborhood Center does not accept passengers with large camping packs, but it does now goes to the airport. It stops across the street at Kojima Store going to Lihue Town and the Airport, it would be coming from Anahola, Kilauea, Princeville, Hanalei, Haena, and the Kalalau Trail.

Section 10.  HITCH HIKING
Hitch hiking is common and you can do so by going out of airport and at the big intersection with stop lights, walk a little to the right (north) and go for it. We are about 9 miles from the airport 1 block 3 buildings from the north end of Kapa'a Town on the ocean side of the road across from Kojima Store and 2 doors south of the Kapa'a Neighborhood Center and Kapa’a Swimming Pool.

SECTION 11: COMPARING OURSELVES
We charge a few dollars more for our shared accommodation only because we have some of the highest utility rates and taxes in the USA; and because it is the only budget traveler/backpacker location in Hawaii located right on a lagoon and
the ocean with proximity to everything you need within walking distance. We charge the same or less for our private rooms which all but one have the fabulous Blue Lagoon and Pacific Ocean view. While the only other budget lodge's private rooms all overlook the county industrial base yard for parking heavy equipment and shipping containers, we are truly on the Blue Lagoon with a feeling of paradise.

The beds, view, staff, privacy and atmosphere have no comparison to any other budget lodge
in Hawaii and is said to be so by well traveled vacationers who have been to many other locations in Hawaii and overseas. Lonely Planet has chosen us to be in their latest (2008) book on Hawaii as well now numerous other budget and back packer travel books from "Lets Go" to many others.

Section 12: Some easy rules for your comfort and cleanly environ. Email us for an updated rules.

We, like any other place of lodging need some rules to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A pay phone is located right across the street at the sidewalk fronting the Windward Deli.

1.) Please enjoy and feel welcome to ask us any questions and/or to assist you with anything within reason. We are here to serve you and help
you have a tremendous Hawaiian Tropical experience on Kauai.

2.) Sheets must be maintained for at least 5 days or we must charge for earlier clean replacements. If you want a beach towel, you can buy one and have a beautiful souvenir of your visit by
buying one at the nearby ABC Store for under $10. ABSOLUTELY NO LINENS, PILLOWS, OR KITCHEN WARE CAN BE TAKEN FROM THE BEACHHOUSE.

*************************************************************PLEASE WHEN SHOWERING, WHEN SCRUBBING YOUR BODY PLEASE USE THE SHOWER HEAD HANDLE TO TURN OFF THE WATER FLOW WHILE THE SHOWER HEAD JUST HANGS IN THE SHOWER. The wasted water uses not only water but electricity and sewage and impacts our $$ rates.

3.) When you return from the beach you, PLEASE, you MUST hose all sand and mud off yourself
because sand in the sewer lines clogs them. Hoses are at ground level of the bluilding at all entrances and are on the front and the back and the side of the building.

Any open flames like candles, incense, or cigarettes or smoking of any kind are not allowed in or on the building or its decks. Smoking must be done down in the parking area or alongside the lagoon. All open flames and embers like incense or any burning embers are forbidden due to the risk of fire and the comfort of our other guests.

During the day, in the shared accommodation rooms, we ask you to put all your belongings on your bed and close your curtains so that the rooms look tidy and clean; so that we all can experience a comfortable visual environment conducive to the lush tropical views and sparkling lagoon waters right in back of us.

6.) When you use the kitchen or baths please clean up after yourself very well for the next person's right to cleanliness and sanitation. Our fee for lodging does not include frequent cleanups during the day as an expensive
hotel affords you.

7.) Please remove your shoes or slippers before going onto any carpets or into the sleeping rooms as this is a part of the Hawaiian Culture. You would insult someone's home in Hawaii to wear your shoes indoors.

8.) We collect the fees for lodging in advance in cash or traveler's checks only. Once you have arrived we will continue your reservations only for the nights you pre-pay after your arrival. We  receive Email and phone reservations everyday from people who are already on the island or are
arriving from another island within the hour and any accommodation not paid for in advance would be given to another traveler.

This is especially compounded when we have walk-ins. Sometimes we can get 8 walk-ins in an hour and we will provide accommodation for them for any bed not paid for in advance after you have arrived. Some people like to "play it by ear"
regarding the days they want to go camping or how many days they want to stay on Kauai. We are fine by that and would want to do the same ourselves, just be aware that we need to keep our place as full as possible and so any bed or room not paid in advance is an open space in our reservation book.

9.) Check out time is 10:00 a.m.; but you do not need to leave The Kauai BeachHouse. We just need to clean and hang to dry all the sheets and towels and have them ready for others later in the day and clean the rooms and have them ready for the Noon check-ins. If you have a late afternoon or evening flight, arrangements can be made for a later shower at a fee, $5.

You are welcome to relax around the premises until you go to your flight. Why a late shower fee?

Because we have the second highest utility rates in the US. A shower uses water, electric, and sewage, and a towel. Formal Check-in Times are
Noon, and 6 p.m., and 8 pm. If you arrive between times, relax make yourself at home; grab an empty bunk if you are in shared. We will provide
sheets/etc., when we check you in.

10) Because we are in the tropics you must eat and keep food only in the kitchen area or take it out to the edge of The Blue Lagoon and enjoy your meal by the edge of the water between the swaying palms. There are large plastic snap on lid containers for food not needing refrigeration, each container has an Island name on it to individualize each one.

11.)If you rent anything from us you are responsible for bringing it back in the same condition or pay for its replacement or repair to pre-damaged condition. When it comes to surfboards or bicycles this can be costly in the
several hundreds of dollars.

You also assume all responsibility for your own
safety. You must wear protective clothing for activities that commonly call for safety equipment...such as a helmet on a bicycle. We do rent mountain bicycles, surfboards, windsurf boards, boogey boards, fins/snorkel/masks for
much less than the activity centers; for your enjoyment and budget considerations.

13.) Rowdy-ness, rude-ness, drunken-ness, drugs or any disruptive behavior will result in appropriate action on our part along the lines of canceling a reservation or even calling the Police immediately. No illegal drugs of any kind are allowed in or on the premises. On this island, drug paraphernalia, even cigarette papers, is a mandatory 5 years in prison; and we won't
tolerate it either. At The Kapa'a BeachHouse, Paradise is all you need, and it arrived before we did.

14.) If no one is here when you get here make yourself at home until our return or please call us at 652-8162 or 63 or 64 phone is by the 2nd floor chalkboard. This will tell us that you are there and we will come as soon as we can or at the next assigned check in time. I believe the phone # across the street at the side walk to the right of Kojima Storeis 823-9707.

15.) PLEASE do not hang anything to dry on any railings of the Kauai BeachHouse on the decks…it just looks terrible. And besides there is a clothes drying area. Ask anyone where.

16.) PLEASE do not sit on any railing or the bathroom sinks, which is dangerous on the one hand and damaging on the other.

We are a large building but a small amount of accommodations so we do not have a huge amount of people staying ever. We cater to families, students, all working people, etc., and all people with serious interest in the ocean, rivers, nature, mountains, waterfalls, canyons, rainbows,
sightseeing, hiking, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, helicopters, relaxing, BBQ 's, swimming, Hawaiian Music, dancing, and Hula.

We take reservations and advertise only on the internet; with a check mailed to us for your deposit on a confirmed reservation.

Renting a car for at least 2 days is recommended to see each side of the island each of those 2 days. There are tours but a car will give better
maximal coverage...it is awesome all the areas you can reach by car and should not be missed. Rental car costs are less than the mainland I
believe...we will enclose in this email a list of car companies at end of this travel dialogue. There are budget rental car places and we are trying
to locate them for you.
